- Anglo American AAL.L took a $1.6 billion writedown at its Woodsmith mine fertiliser project in Britain.
- Britain’s accounting watchdog, the Financial Reporting Council, issued financial sanctions totalling 48.2 million pounds ($61.98 million) in the year to the end of March, surpassing the previous record of 46.5 million pounds ($59.79 million) set in the 2021-22 financial year.
